Southstoke House

Southstoke House is where I live. I love sharing my home with course participants, and every group creates a unique atmosphere. We work together, eat together and relax together.

The house is a large early-Victorian country house set in 7 acres of grounds with stunning views over the Midford Valley and the Mendip Hills.

Accommodation

  • shared rooms in the house – £7-10/night
  • single-occupancy rooms in the house – £40-45/night
  • single/double-occupancy summer house – £30-40/night
  • B&B nearby

We will do our best to meet your needs. But please understand that we are a family home and not a hotel. So we have plenty of extra blankets but can’t do room service!

Food

We cook together in the house, and meals are provided as part of the course fees. Let us know if you are vegetarian or have other dietary needs.

It may be difficult for us to accommodate your particular diet, and you may need to bring your own specialist foods. But do talk to us about it.

Please come by public transport if possible. It is more environmentally-friendly and parking can be difficult.
